We are delighted to announce that Franky Li has joined EMM as an Associate Director, Water Resources Specialist, based in BC, Canada.
Franky is a hydrogeologist and water resources leader, with a career spanning over two decades across the consulting, mining, international development, and humanitarian sectors. He brings a wealth of experience in hydrogeological analysis and modelling, groundwater and surface water management, and water infrastructure design, with project experience ranging from mine feasibility studies to emergency water supply for displaced communities.
His career highlights include leading multi-disciplinary water projects across North America, Africa, Asia, and Europe; and driving business growth through technical excellence and strategic partnerships. Franky’s technical depth is matched by his passion for empowering communities through sustainable water solutions, and his ability to bring people together to deliver projects that have real impact.

Franky holds a Master of Applied Science (Civil Engineering with a Minor in Hydrogeology) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Civil Engineering), both from the University of British Columbia. He is also a Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering with Engineers and Geoscientists BC, Canada.
